Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure checks at 9:30, bingo at 10, and lunch and Ask the Social Worker at 11:30; Tuesday, Zumba at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11:30, bingo at noon and movie night (“Invictus”) at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, Walking Club and health insurance at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, lunch at 11:30 and Tai Chi (video) at noon; Thursday, yoga at 9:30 a.m., computer class at 10:30, lunch and monthly birthday party at 11:30 and bingo at noon; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo and a discussion group at 10 and lunch at 11:30. Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer guardianship program of the Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for new volunteers. The next monthly meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 1953 Niles-Cortland Road SE, Warren. The angels reach out in friendship to people who are elderly and alone in Trumbull County by providing trained, qualified volunteers to serve as advocates. For more information call 330-675-2521.

Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program offers a certified instructor to provide a review of driving skills and techniques as well as strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Classes will take place at the following: Niles SCOPE, noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday; Cortland SCOPE, noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 11; and West Farmington Senior Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 23.
