SENIOR CITIZENS

Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside. Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick will give reports. Luncheon hostesses are Jenny Armeni, Jeannette Armeni and George McClelland. There will be a ticket auction. The retirees are seeking more Parker-Hannifin retirees to attend the monthly get-together. Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship and games. Take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. All are welcome.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Douglas Martin will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Electric Local 717 Retirees will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Local 717 Union Hall in Warren Commerce Park, 2950 Sferra Ave., Warren. Members attending are asked to take a covered dish and table service for a picnic lunch. Hot dogs are being served, and drinks are provided.

P.E.R.I. 18, Public Employees Retirees Inc. Mahoning Chapter, will meet at noon Aug. 2 for the annual picnic at Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. The guest speaker will be Helen Youngblood of OPERS, who will discuss legislative matters. The buffet menu will consist of chicken, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, relish tray, fruit tray, iced tea, coffee and pie. There will be a money raffle. The cost is $9 for members, associate members and guests, payable at the door.
