Garthwaite is SOV Employee of the Month

Trish Garthwaite was recently announced as the June Employee of the Month for Shepherd of the Valley-Poland.

Garthwaite is a cook in the SOV-Poland Dietary Department. She joined the SOV-Poland staff in February 2010 as a dietary aide.

When asked why Garthwaite was chosen as Employee of the Month, Kelly Stansloski, SOV-Poland associate director, said she consistently went above and beyond the requirements of her job, trying new cooking ideas to enhance the meal selections, pitching in wherever she was needed and volunteering to help with resident parties and other events.

“Not only Trish, but her family, volunteers at resident parties,” said Stansloski, “Just this year they have helped with the resident New Year’s Eve, Mardi Gras and Super Bowl parties. They participated in community events, including parades and our craft show. Even more important, Trish shows respect toward the residents and staff,” she said.
