Carol Burlingame of Minturn and Robert Rodriguez of North Fork, Calif., exchanged wedding vows in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Richard P. McNeill on June 11 at Minturn Mile House.

A reception followed, and the couple left on a wedding trip to Sierra National Forest in California. They are living in North Fork.

Cora and Claire Jackson, nieces of the bride, participated in the wedding as flower girls and ring bearers.

The bride, daughter of Jerry and Pearle Burlingame of North Lima, earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and international and public affairs from Muskingum University. She obtained a master’s degree in geography from Ohio University and is employed by the U.S. Forest Service as a forestry technician at White River National Forest in the Eagle/Holy Cross Ranger District, Eagle, Colo.

The groom, son of Robert and Betty Rodriguez of Lexington, Ky., graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology, and he earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. He is employed by the U.S. Forest Service as a recreation specialist in the Sierra National Forest, Clovis, Calif.
