Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church was the setting for the 3:30 p.m. May 21 wedding of Alicia LeAnn Molter of Plain City, Ohio, and John Grossman of Martinsville, Ind.

The bride is the daughter of Tracy and LuAnn Molter of Plain City, and the groom is the son of John and Julie Grossman of Youngstown.

The Rev. Dale Lykins performed the ceremony, and a reception followed at Our Lady of Victory Church hall in Grandview Heights, Ohio.

A postnuptial reception took place May 29 at Boardman Park.

After a wedding trip to Antigua, the Grossmans live in Martinsville.

The bride wore a satin A-line gown with a train. It featured ruching, off-the-shoulder straps and a lace-up back.

Honor attendants for the bride were Michelle Frisbee and Erin Morris. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Grossman, sister of the groom; Christine McLain, cousin of the groom; Kathryn Bunner; and Caitlin Bartley. Alicia Grossman, cousin of the groom, was flower girl. Half of the attendants wore cornflower blue, and half wore wisteria gowns.

Thomas Beltz and James Hyland were the best men, and groomsmen were Andrew Molter and Austin Molter, brothers of the bride; Adam Depp; and Raymond Bonner. Liam McLain, cousin and godson of the groom, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Mattison Clayton, cousin of the bride; and Owen McLain, cousin of the groom.

Mrs. Grossman graduated with a degree in therapeutic recreation from Slippery Rock University. She works as an early intervention assistant for Easter Seals Central & Southeast Ohio in Hilliard.

The groom, also an SRU graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation and a master’s in adapted physical activity. He is a program specialist for Bradford Woods in Martinsville, Ind.
