Judge to Lohan: Speed up service

LOS ANGELES

A judge says Lindsay Lohan needs to speed up her community service to make sure she meets a deadline to complete 480 hours within a year. Lohan appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday to update Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner on the progress of her probation in drunken driving and misdemeanor theft cases.

The actress has completed 33 hours at a shelter for women. She spent a month under house arrest.

The judge also warned she wouldn’t give Lohan additional time to complete the hours, even if she was working on a movie.

Lohan has completed one shoplifters anonymous class and is enrolling in court-ordered counseling.
