Debra Mayne of Boardman, daughter of Sherry Breese of Ellsworth and the late Norman Mayne, is announcing her engagement to Andrew Kis of Sayre, Pa., son of Berniece and Paul Kis of Cleveland.

Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park will be the setting for the couple’s afternoon wedding on Sept. 3. A reception, for which invitations will be extended, will follow at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed by Phantom Fireworks in Youngstown as an executive assistant.

The prospective groom, a graduate of the University of Akron, earned a bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping. He is employed as a land surveyor for Civil & Environmental Consultants of Sayre. Mr. Kis served five years in the U.S. Navy Seabees.
