Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1971 will have a prereunion get-together at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 at the 31 Club, 3118 Powers Way, Youngstown. Membership to the club is not required on that day. On Aug. 6 a reunion picnic will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the main pavilion in Roosevelt Park, Campbell. The cost is $15 for classmates and $10 for guests. Take an appetizer, side dish or dessert. After the reunion, there is an open invitation to gather from 5 p.m. on at the Diamond Bar at 12th Street and Robinson Road in Campbell. Alan Keish and Ray Fabian will be in concert. Everyone is responsible for their own tab. Chaney High School Classes of 1943 and 1944 are planning their 68th and 67th year reunions Aug. 6. Cocktails at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 will be at the Saxon Club pavilion, 710 S. Meridian Road. Chaney High School Class of 1976 will meet for their next reunion planning meeting at 10 a.m. Aug. 6 at Panera Bread, 4205 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield. Rogers, Clarkson and Oak Grove High Schools will have a joint reunion on Sept. 24 at Columbiana County Career Center, 9364 State Route 45 Lisbon. Sign-in is from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m., and dinner is served at 6. The menu will be a choice of baked steak or stuffed chicken breast, baked potato, green beans, salad and dessert, served by the school’s culinary program. Sharon Steel Girls will have their Sixth Annual Sharon Steel Reunion at 1 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Avalon Golf and Country Club-Buhl Park, in Sharon, Pa. South High School Class of 1971 is having its 40th year reunion Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2 through 4. The class will meet Sept. 2 at MVR, 410 N. Walnut St., Youngstown, for finger foods and a cash bar. The cost is $17 per person. On Sept. 3 there will be a formal dinner-dance with a band and a cash bar at the Youngstown Club, Commerce Building, 201 E. Commerce St., Youngstown. Cost is $50 person. The cost for both events is $65 per person or $125 per couple for both nights. On Sept. 4 there will be a picnic at Pioneer Pavilion in Mill Creek Park. Take food to share and beverages; hot dogs and burgers will be supplied. Take lawn chairs and games. The cost is covered by the previous nights’ events. The deadline to register is July 31.
