Pa. teen fatally struck riding scooter

ETTERS, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a teenager is dead after being struck by a van while riding his scooter outside a central Pennsylvania home.

York County deputy coroner Claude Stabley says 14-year-old Wyatt Cadle died at the scene after being struck Monday evening in Newberry Township.

Stabley says Cadle had been riding the scooter in the driveway but went into the roadway and into the path of the minivan.

Township police are investigating.
