Nick Longo hit a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the third inning as Brownlee took a 6-1 lead en route to the championship. Mitch Longo added two hits and an RBI. Vinnie Ragnoni had two hits and an RBI for the Vipers.

North Coast Vipers 8, Livi Steel 4

Jake Foster had three hits and three RBIs and Brent McCormick doubled for Livi, which gave up three runs in the top of the first. For the Vipers, Jaime Lackner and Vinny Ragnoni each had three hits.

North Ohio Hurricanes 6, Rondinelli Tuxedo 5

Austin Beil had two hits, including a double, and an RBI for Rondinelli, while Denver Martin tripled and drove in a run. Drew Beck and Pat Carlozzi each had RBIs in the loss. Austin Jackson had two hits and five RBIs for the Hurricanes.

Diamond Boys 8, Astro Falcons 1

Sabatino Danardo drove in Carrington Bell for Astro’s lone run in the fourth. Bell had two hits. For Diamond Boys, Aaron Cain, Mike Poole, Jacob Carpenter and Jesse Keckler each had two hits.

Action Physical Therapy 10, North Coast USA 8

Joey Staunch hit a bases-clearning triple in the first inning as Action Physical Therapy took a 6-0 lead en route to the championship. Matt Huntquist had two hits, two RBIs and a run. For North Coast USA, Noah Cloonan had two hits and two RBIs.

Action Physical Therapy 14, Manchester A’s 11

Nick Heitzer, Greg Popadak and Tyler Wansack eac had two hits and Popadak had three RBIs in the first three innings to help Action take an 11-6 lead. For Manchester, Jake Kempt, Cooper Easton, and Logan Pasterchek each had two hits.

North Coast USA 11, Astro Falcons 9

Jake Silverman had three hits and four RBIs, driving in three of those in the first three innings as USA took a 9-2 lead. For Astro, Tommy James and Eddie Crump had three hits. Dan McMullen had three hits in the victory.

North Coast Vipers 11, Astro Falcons 4

Noah Cloonan had three hits and drove in two runs for the Vipers, who scored five runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead for goodl. Ricky Svetlak had two hits for the Falcons, while Scott Pierce and Christian Lowery added RBIs.

Mill Creek 11-year-olds

FAIRFIELD

Mill Creek’s 11-year-old baseball team defeated Fairfield County, 6-2, in the championship game of the Cal Ripken state championship tournament last weekend. Cole Constance got the win with Jared Fabry and Randy Smith leading the offense. In the tournament’s first game, Constance picked up the mond win and Antonio Page had two hits to lead Mill Creek past Fairfield, 7-4. Mill Creek then beat west regional champion Springfield 9-6 in extra innings. Coleman Stauffer got the win, while Brennen Olesh, Antonio Page and Evan Collins each adding two hits. Other team members are Tristan Ballard, Josh Scheetz, Hayden Bennet, JC Scott, Anthony Elberty and Tyler Day. Mill Creek advanced to the Ohio Valley regional tournament, which will be held in Galesburg, Ill., from July 21-26 for the chance to play in next month’s Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Md.

Crestview and Canfield play for the championship at 6 p.m. today at Boardman’s Fields of Dreams. If Canfield wins, they will play again Tuesday night.
