SENIOR CITIZENS

55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at noon Tuesday at Eat’n Park in Austintown.

Austintown REAC 3298 will have its annual picnic at 1 p.m. Monday at the aerie on Raccoon Road. Officers will host the event, and a 50-50 raffle will take place. New members and guests are welcome. The next meeting will be Aug. 15 at the aerie.

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. All members and spouses are welcome.

Croatian Pensioners of the Mahoning Valley will meet at noon Thursday at the Lodge 66 Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road. A board meeting of all officers and trustees will take place at 10:30 a.m. The speaker will be Atty. Charlene Burke on Medicare and Medicaid. Cards and bingo will follow the meeting. Girard Oldtimers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Road, Girard.

Holy Family Seniors will have their annual picnic beginning at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Hope Hall at the Holy Family Center. Use the Youth Center entrance. A buffet luncheon will be served. Cards, bingo and a 50-50 raffle are planned. To report an illness or death call Nancy Nappy at 330-727-2823.

Holy Name Seniors will have a summer picnic at 1 p.m. July 24 in Founders Hall. Cost is $6, and officers will serve as hostesses. Birthdays will be observed, and raffles, cards and bingo are planned.

Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Santon Pavilion on Canfield Road for the annual picnic meeting. Call your telephone committee for directions. Kay Herberger will preside, and hostesses are Louise Leone and Rosie Sferra. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and July birthdays will be acknowledged.

Local 1199 will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the union hall on Belmont Avenue for a picnic. Take a covered dish. New members are invited.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Wanda Conner will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Friendly’s on Route 224 in Poland. All OBES retirees are welcome.

Retirees of S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10 of Local 2243, U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel, will have a regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Local 1375 Union Hall, 684 North Park Ave., Warren. The guest speaker will be Judge Pamela A. Rintala.

St. Christine Seniors will meet Wednesday at the Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, for their annual summer picnic. Plan to arrive after 11:15 a.m., and the food will be served at noon. No tickets will be sold at the door. Activities will include door prizes, a 50-50 raffle, cards and bingo.
