Bernards, family observe 50th in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN AND BOCA RATON, FLA.

Jerry and Jeannette Bernard of Youngstown and Boca Raton were honored June 23 at a celebration in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple’s three daughters hosted the festivities at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.

The children and their spouses are Lory Bernard of Youngstown; Mary Jane and Russ Ingram of Coconut Creek, Fla.; and Nancy and Fritz Mackey of Boynton Beach, Fla. The couple also have seven grandchildren.

The Bernards were married June 24, 1961, at Holy Name Church, Youngstown.

Mr. Bernard graduated from Youngstown University. He owned and operated the Bernard & Sons Auto Parts.

Mrs. Bernard is a homemaker.

The Bernards are active through several clubs and other organizations in Youngstown and Boca Raton.
