Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. What: “SonQuest Rainforest” is the theme.
When: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Where: Church, 7025 Luteran Lane, Poland.

What: “Shake it up Caf — Where Kids Carry Out God’s Recipe.”
When: 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8-12.
Where: Church, 2214 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.
Details: This program is for children 4 years to those who have completed the sixth grade. It will feature Bible stories, crafts, music, games, snacks and more. To register, call 330-799-5318 or register the first day.
Who: Ohltown United Methodist Church
What: “Shake it up Caf — Where Kids Carry Out God’s Recipe.”
When: 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.
Where: Church, 2001 Ohltown-Mineral Ridge Road, Mineral Ridge.
Details: The program is for 4- to 10-year-olds and will feature Bible stories, crafts, music and lunch. Children are asked to bring donations of canned or bagged dog and cat food, treats and toys for Trumbull County animal shelter, the mission project. For information, call 330-652-5046.

What: “VBS EXtreme A New Life for the Whole Family” is the theme.
When: 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Where: Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Rodge, Liberty.
Details: The Bible-based lessons will be taught through games, skits, characters, sound and music. There also will be Nickelodeon rainbow slime. The free program is for participants from 3 years old to those entering seventh grade in the fall. There also will be classes for teens and parents. What: The theme is “Panda-Mania — Where God is Wild about You.”

Details: The program is open to 3- to 10-year-olds. The cost is $5 per child. Register at the door.

What: “Jesus Truth Seekers — Mission Possible” is the theme.
When: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 25-Aug.5.
