A 45-year-old Wisconsin man told township police he was robbed late Thursday in the parking lot of T/A Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
According to the report, the victim said he was walking toward his truck when he was approached by five men who asked him to get into a card game. The victim stated when he declined, one man grabbed and punched him in the chest and throat and then removed $110 from a wallet taken from his pocket.
All five suspects ran toward the car lot of a nearby business. There were no security cameras for the lot, but the officer observed a red mark on the victim’s throat and torn shirt.
