Slovak Society garage sale

The National Slovak Society’s Assembly 731 members are organizing a flea-market-type garage sale July 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Countryside Farm, 4684 Center Road in Poland.

The cost is $10 for an area to sell items. Proceeds will go to the Beatitude House with the National Slovak Society matching up to $400 toward the benefit.

Sellers will need to bring their own tables and a canopy is suggested for protection from the weather. Sellers can keep the profits or designate a charity to receive the money.

Sellers are responsible for setting up their area between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and cleaning up their area at the end of the day.

To reserve a spot, a $10 check should be sent to Lauren Fox, Assembly 731 President, 6656 Lowellville Road, Lowellville, OH 44436 by Wednesday. For information, call Lauren at 330-536-8850.

A special area will be set up for donated items that are on the Beatitude House’s wish list and anyone can drop those items off on July 23. Gift cards for groceries and gas; diapers; clothing for children; household supplies; personal hygiene/medical supplies and office supplies are accepted.
