Only walk-ins available for Friday's work discrimination complaints

YOUNGSTOWN

The schedule is full for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s mobile-outreach center’s visit Friday to the Youngstown unit of the NAACP to hear complaints of employment discrimination based on race, religion, sex, national origin, age (40 and older), disability or retaliation.

The local unit, however, will accept walk-ins Friday and allow them to fill out an application which the individual can mail to the EEOC. The commission will then contact the person by telephone and conduct an interview, said officials with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

The local office is at Suite 721 in the PNC Bank Building, downtown.
