NEOUCOM GRADUATES

Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rootstown welcomed Ohio’s newest physicians at a commencement ceremony recently at E.J. Thomas Hall in Akron. The local graduates are:

Akron: Tonya Nicole Thomas is a graduate of Southeast High School and the University of Akron and is the daughter of Carl and Virginia Trownson of Streetsboro and Scott Thomas of Newton Falls. She will serve her residency in obstetrics- gynecology at Loyola University, Maywood, Ill.

Austintown: Michelle Renee Dockry is a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of Michael and Marie Dockry of Youngstown. She will serve her residency in family medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Boardman: Deeksha Agrawal is a graduate of Boardman High School and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of Pradeep and Neena Bansal of Boardman. She is married to Dr. Shravan Agrawal of Boardman. She will serve her residency in neurology at Allegheny Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Boardman: Michael G. Chichak is a grdaute of Boardman High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of George and Barbara Chichak of Boardman. He is married to Kelly Chichak and is the father of Grant. He will serve his residency in ophthalmology at Brown University, Providence, R.I.

Boardman: Siddharth Kudav is a graduate of Boardman High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Ganesh V. and Rekha G. Kudav of Poland. He will serve his residency in general surgery at University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo.

Boardman: Nikhil Kumar is a graduate of Boardman High School and the University of Akron and is the son of Sangita Kumar of Newark, Del. He will serve his residency in anesthesiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Brookfield: Gregory William Tanner is a graduate of Brookfield High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Wayne and Frances Tanner of Brookfield. He will serve his residency in preliminary surgery at Western Reserve Care System/Northeast Ohio Medical University, Youngstown.

Canfield: Chad Patrick Henson is a graduate of Boardman High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Dr. Keith and Mrs. Sheila Henson of Canfield. He will serve his residency in internal medicine- primary care track at George Washington University, Washington, D.C.

Canfield: Amanpreet Kaur is a graduate of Canfield High School and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of Diljit Singh Dhillon and Jagjit Kaur of Canfield. She will serve her residency in internal medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H.

Canfield: Themos John Politis is a graduate of Canfield High School and Kent State University and is the son of John and Joanne Politis of Youngstown. He will serve his residency in internal medicine at Summa Health System/Northeast Ohio Medical University, Akron.

Canfield: Anita Ravi is a graduate of Western Reserve Academy and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of Drs. Bhargava and Vijaya Ravi of Canfield. She will serve her residnecy in internal medicine at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, Calif.

Columbiana: John Alex Heintzelman is a graduate of Columbiana High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of John and Candy Heintzelman of Columbiana. He will serve his residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Health Center/Northeast Ohio Medical University, Youngstown.

East Liverpool: Kevin Pan is a graduate of East Liverpool High School and Kent State University and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pan of East Liverpool. He will serve his residency in diagnostic radiology at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pa.

Howland: Mark Callow is a graduate of Howland High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Carl and Rose Callow of Niles. He will serve his residency in neurology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, Ky.

Hubbard: Sarah Marie Crafton is a graduate of Hubbard High School and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of Jay and Diane Crafton of Hubbard. She will serve her residency in obstetrics-gynecology at the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.

Poland: Sarah C. Park is a graduate of Poland Seminary High School and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of Moon and Bong Park of Poland. She will serve her residency in internal medicine at Case Western/MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland.

Youngstown: Bryan Patrick O’Connell is a graduate of Liberty High School and The Ohio State University and is the son of Robert and Janet Toth of Hubbard. He is married to Alina Marie O’Connell and will serve his residency in internal medicine at Summa Health System/Northeast Ohio Medical University, Akron.

Youngstown: Lewis M. Spirtos is a graduate of Poland Seminary High School and Youngstown State University. He will serve his residency in psychiatry at Northeast Ohio Medical University Affiliated Hospitals, Akron.

Zanesville: Stephanie D. DeWitt is a graduate of Zanesville High School and Youngstown State University and is the daughter of the Reverend and Mrs. Terry D. Newman of Zanesville. She is married to Chad E. DeWitt and will serve her residency in general surgery at St. Elizabeth Health Center/Northeast Ohio Medical University in Youngstown.

Austintown: John W. Leslie is a graduate of Ursuline High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Kenny and Joan Leslie of Canfield.

Boardman: David A. Hamer is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Robert and Janet Hamer of Boardman.

Cuyahoga Falls: Robert James Nearhoof is a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and is the son of Jack and Carla Nearhoof of Lake Milton, and Linda and Joe Demeter of Granville, Ohio. He will serve as a pharmacist at Klein’s Pharmacy in Cuyahoga Falls.

Howland: Christopher Paul Shelby is a graduate of Howland High School and Kent State University and is the son of Pam Shelby and the late Paul Shelby of Girard, and Valerie Patrick of Altamonte Springs, Fla. He is married to Christie Shelby and is the father of Jackson P. and Maya A. Shelby. He will serve as a pharmacy resident at Akron General Medical Center, Akron.

Hubbard: Pam Massullo is a graduate of Hubbard High School and Youngstown State University and The Ohio State University and is the daughter of Elio and Mary Massullo of Hubbard. She is married to Matthew Murdock of Hilliard, Ohio.

McDonald: Joseph Aaron Dikun is a graduate of McDonald High School and Youngstown State University and is the son of Marlene Dikun of McDonald.
