Rachel Gordon to be bride of Jeffrey States

Rachel Lynn Gordon and Jeffrey Robert States, both of Boardman, are engaged and planning to be married this summer, their parents announce.

She is the daughter of Gary and Barb Gordon of Newton Falls, and he is the son of James and Cheryl Smith of Canfield and the late Robert C. States.

Invitations are being extended for the wedding the couple have planned for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown and for a reception that evening at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

The bride-to-be attended Kent State University Trumbull Branch.

She works as a bookkeeper for Covelli Enterprises in Warren.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University.

He works for Windham School District as a junior high math teacher and a high school athletic director.
