An Ohio prisons spokesman says the Rev. Jesse Jackson is among witnesses listed for the parole board hearing of an Akron woman convicted of using her father’s address to enroll her daughters in a neighboring school district.

Spokesman Carlo LoParo tells The Plain Dealer of Cleveland on Thursday that Jackson, attorneys and family members are on the list for the Tuesday hearing of Kelley Williams-Bolar.

Williams-Bolar has said she switched districts over concern for her daughters’ safety. She served nine days in jail for felony records tampering.

The case outraged residents in Williams-Bolar’s northeast Ohio community, some because of her dishonesty, others for the severity of her prosecution.

The parole board will determine whether the conviction and jail time were appropriate. The proceeding was requested by Gov. John Kasich.
