Campbell man sentenced for Hubbard home burglaries

William Santiago Jr., 20, of Blackburn Street, Campbell, is sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of burglary involving homes in Hubbard Township last year.
Santiago received the sentence Thursday in the courtroom of Judge John M. Stuard of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
Santiago also was sentenced to probation last year in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for assaulting a man and his daughter during a brawl on East Glenaven Avenue in Youngstown.
Santiago’s indictment in the Trumbull County case says he burglarized houses on Hubbard-Bedford, Pothhour-Wheeler, Pound and South Fox North roads Nov. 17 and Nov. 19.
