Berlin Twp. man pleads to sex crime

A Berlin Township man has pleaded guilty to having improper sexual contact with a teenager.

Brent Gatrell, 52, was arrested and charged with the crime in March.

Prosecutors sentenced Gatrell on Wednesday to five years’ probation.

He also is required to register as a sex offender and must seek counseling.
