A fundraiser for the Mike Ezzo Benefit Fund for Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia awareness will be Friday at the Lemon Grove. Featured will be Ralph Rich, the One Forty Ones, Johnny Grahovac and 5 Elements. There is a $5 donation.
Chiari malformation is an abnormality in the lower part of the brain, the cerebellum, and Syringomyelia is a chronic disorder involving the spinal cord.

Party on the Plaza, set from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., features two bands Friday with Winslow on stage at 8 and The Rage at 10:30. Hot 101 and Rock 104 host and emcee.
Volunteers from the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley will bartend and raise money.

Edward Albee’s “The Goat Or, Who is Sylvia?” opens at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane. It will run one weekend only through Sunday as the final show in the inaugural season of the Griffith-Alder Actors Series.
A summer special of $10 a person will be offered opening night. Other performances are $15 for adults and $12, seniors. Seating is limited. Call the box office at 330-788-8739. The play contains adult content.
