Mum about injuries

YOUNGSTOWN

A city man has been admitted to St. Elizabeth Health Center with cuts to his left arm and face, but refuses to tell police how he was injured.

According to police reports, officers were sent to East Boston Avenue on the South Side Monday evening and found the man with multiple cuts that appear to be from a knife or box cutter. Police called for an ambulance, but received no cooperation from the man. He would say only that he was involved in a fight at a Market Street gas station.

Reports say officers tried to get information from the man’s girlfriend who was also at the scene, but she also refused to cooperate with police.
