City man gets jail time, probation for sexual assaults
YOUNGSTOWN — A city man convicted of sexual activity with an underage girl will spend 90 days in Mahoning County jail and the next five years on probation.
Treven Johnson, 23, who listed addresses on West Glenaven Avenue and Arch Street, had been indicted on 20 counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition. The rape charges were in connection with a minor who is mentally impaired.
Johnson entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors whereby he pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition. The remaining rape charges were dropped under the plea agreement.
