Youngstown school board adds two administrators
YOUNGSTOWN — Two new administrators have been added to the city school district’s rolls.
The school board late this afternoon unanimously approved the 2011-2012 appointments of Douglas T. Hiscox and Richard A. Gozur as deputy superintendent of academic affairs and Chaney principal, respectively.
Hiscox will earn $98,984 and Gozur, $81,088 in their respective positions.
According to the job description, Hiscox will be the district’s chief academic officer and be responsible for “creating a rigorous and supportive climate for learning and implementing comprehensive and connected strategies to foster highly effecting teaching and better student outcomes throughout the district.”
