Columbus Clippers pitcher to start for Scrappers

Columbus Clippers pitcher Jeanmar Gomez will start for the Scrappers on Wednesday at Eastwood Field.

In 14 starts this season for Columbus, Gomez is 9-3 with a 2.40 ERA.

He’s made four appearances with the Cleveland Indians this season, going 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA.

The Scrappers play the Connecticut Tigers at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday.
