Campbell man gets 10-year prison term on sex charges
YOUNGSTOWN — Milous Brown wanted a new trial and a temporary reprieve from jail, but what he received was a 10-year prison sentence and a requirement to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
Brown, 34, of 13th Street, Campbell, appeared today for sentencing before Judge John M. Durkin of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on two felony counts of gross sexual imposition. A jury convicted Brown of the charges earlier this year.
Judge Durkin sentenced Brown to maximum sentences of five years on each of the charges to be served consecutively. Brown is also required to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
He will get credit for the 166 days he has spent in the county jail.
