ASG schedules Make-It-Take-It Day

The Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is sponsoring a Make-It-Take-It Day on Aug. 6 at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 5253 W. Webb Road.

Registration with coffee, tea and doughnuts begins at 9:30 a.m., and classes start at 10. Admission is $8, and lunch is included. Register for up to four classes, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.

Classes include a machine-felted pin, dresser scarf with decorative and heirloom stitching, a red wool cardinal, a necklace made from a zipper and beads, a “wrap” fabric bowl, a personalized scissor bag, a stuffed snowman and “texting” mittens.
