YSU alumni in 10 cities across US to network on July 21

Dozens of Youngstown State University alumni in 10 cities from Washington D.C. to Phoenix will participate in the first YSU Alumni National Networking Day on July 21.

The event is an effort by the Office of Alumni and Events Management to help YSU graduates reconnect with or meet fellow Penguins living in their area. It also is part of a larger and continuing effort to organize alumni groups in cities across thenation.

“We are so excited to have 10 cities participating in the inaugural year for this event,” said Mollie Hartup,assistant director of Alumni Relations and oordinator of the networking event. “We are alwayslooking for new opportunities to engage YSU alumni at home and away.”

At 6 p.m. on July 21, a webcast will be presented for participants in all 10 of the cities to share information.
