Tara Maine, Robert Peet plan marriage

The parents of Tara L. Maine and Robert C. Peet are announcing the couple’s engagement and wedding plans.

Richard and Kathy Maine of Canfield are the parents of the bride-elect, and Robert and Helen Peet of Salem are the parents of the prospective groom.

St. Christine Church in Youngstown will be the setting for the 5:30 p.m. Oct. 22 ceremony at which the couple, both of Canfield, will exchange wedding vows. They have planned a reception for that evening at the church’s parish center. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and criminology from Ohio State University. She earned a postbaccalaureate degree in paralegal studies from Columbus State Community College. She is employed by the city of North Ridgeville, Ohio, as assistant clerk of council.

The prospective groom graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed by Pioneer Electronics as a regional sales director.
