Community garden workshop Saturday on Youngstown's South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp. sponsors a community garden workshop to discuss mulching and saving water from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the community garden in the 900 block of Sherwood Avenue on the South Side.

Learn how to save time and grow healthier vegetables. Maurice Small, an urban agriculture expert, presents the workshop on using mulch, conserving water, and capturing rainwater for your garden.
