Ohio auditor issues findings of recovery for more than $300K against Legacy Academy

YOUNGSTOWN — Auditor of State Dave Yost’s office has issued six findings for recovery, totaling $352,062, in a special audit of Legacy Academy for Leaders and the Arts.

The academy, which operated in Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church on Oak Hill Avenue, closed its doors at the end of the 2010-11 school year, citing declining enrollment.

The special audit was released this morning.
