Red Cross safety training set Saturday

WARREN — The American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley is offering its most popular safety-training package.

Individuals and groups are invited to register for a full day of Red Cross safety training on Saturday at the main office, 661 Mahoning Ave. NW; or July 16 at 8381 Market St., Boardman.

For the special package price of $90, participants will receive adult CPR and standard first-aid training from Red Cross certified instructors. Class is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a break for participants to go to lunch.

Successful participants who meet Red Cross standards in skill performance will earn two-year certification. There is no written exam required.

Evening classes in adult CPR can be taken separately the evening of July 20 in Boardman and Monday in Warren.
