Jeffrey L. Long, 45, of Millet Street, Youngstown, pleaded not guilty in Girard Municipal Court Tuesday to having drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business. The charges stem from an incident in a restaurant parking lot in the 3500 block of Belmont Avenue about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a fight among Long and three females, who told police Long said he’d give them $20 for a ride to a gas station on Belmont. The women gave him the ride but said he didn’t give them the money. When Long tried to walk away, the women threw rocks at him.
Police found a suspected crack pipe on him.
