Program scheduled on Roe vs. Wade


YOUNGSTOWN — The Universal Cafe of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, Corner of Elm and Illinois, will host a program, “Assault on Roe vs. Wade,” on Monday.

Moderator Emily Thome, vice president for development at Planned Parenthood Northeast Ohio, will introduce panelists: Karen O’Malia and Ginny Shorten, who spearheaded Right to Choose efforts prior to and directly after Roe vs. Wade, and Sarah Lowry and Molly Toth, graduate students involved in women’s reproductive health issues.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the program at 7. A $3 donation is requested. Refreshments will be available.
