CANFIELD

Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, is having a country lawn festival at 5 p.m. Saturday. Sandwiches, salads and ice cream will be available, and there will be a country store and a raffle for a Dresden plate pattern quilt.

Potter party set at Poland Library

Teens can still register for the party celebrating the release of the last of the Harry Potter movies, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.”

The party, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Poland Library, is free and open to teens in grades seven through 12.

TeenXTreme librarians from the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will host the after-hours party, which will be all about Harry Potter.

The teen program, “Harry Potter: The Final Foray,” will feature food, games, prizes and crafts, and a hunt for horcruxes within the library. Go dressed as your favorite character if you like. You’ll have company as many of Hogwart’s finest — and those not so fine — are represented in costume.
