MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, July 6: Beef patty on a hamburger bun , crinkle potatoes, green peas, unsweetened pineapple, gelatin and milk.

Thursday, July 7: Glazed chicken patty, ketchup, spudsters, broccoli, orange, bread with honey, angel food cake and milk.

Friday, July 8: Breaded fish on a hamburger bun, green beans, sliced carrots, unsweetened applesauce and milk.

Saturday, July 9: Ham, bread, mustard, tossed salad, three-bean salad, apple, fig bar and milk.

Monday, July 11: Pork riblet, hamburger bun, yellow wax beans, spinach, unsweetened fruit cocktail, vinegar, graham cracker or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

Tuesday, July 12: Honey Dijon chicken, red potato, oriental vegetables, unsweetened diced pears, bread with margarine, banana roll or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, July 6: Super dog on a bun, ketchup and mustard, baked bean quintet, diced carrots, cupcake, angel food cake, apple juice and milk.

Thursday, July 7: Beef and pepper patty, mashed potatoes and gravy, harvard beets, wheat bread with margarine, diced peaches and milk.

Friday, July 8: Fish square with tartar sauce, macaroni and cheese, brussels sprouts, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits, grape juice and milk.

Monday, July 11: Turkey slice with gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat bread with margarine, orange and milk.

Tuesday, July 12: Southwest meatloaf, cheesy mashed potatoes, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, unsweetened applesauce and milk.
