Lisa Simkins and Michael Cardona, both of Youngstown, were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 25, 2010, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells. A reception followed at the Fifth Season Banquet Center in Mineral Ridge.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple reside in Youngstown.
The bride is the daughter of Paul Simkins and of Debbie and Carl Alexander, all of Austintown, and the groom is the son of Karen Al-Sharif of Youngstown.
The bride wore a shimmery silk taffeta gown adorned with pearls and crystals.
Lysette Gonzales was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Rabab Al-Sharif, the groom’s sister, and Krystal Culler. Attendants wore raspberry, black and white dresses.
Harland Cardona and Moe Al-Sharif, brothers of the groom, served as his best men, and groomsmen were Nick Simkins and Matt Alexander, brothers of the bride.
The couple also designated their dog, Alice Magoo, a bridesmaid.
