Katherine Hyler, Brian McGee set Aug. wedding

Katherine Ann Hyler of Warren and Brian Joseph McGee, also of Warren, are engaged, their parents announce.

She is the daughter of Ralph Hyler of Phoenix and the late Patricia Hyler, and he is the son of Dennis and Barbara McGee of Warren.

The couple will exchange wedding vows during an open ceremony at 1 p.m. Aug. 27 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, and a reception for invited guests will follow at Aulizio’s Banquet Center in Warren.

The bride-elect graduated from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, St. Elizabeth Campus, with an associate degree in nursing. She attends Youngstown State University in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in community nursing and is employed as a nurse liaison for Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Greenbriar Rehabilitation in Boardman.

The prospective groom attends American Line Builders Apprenticeship Training in Columbus. He is employed as an apprentice of Local Union 71 in Cincinnati.
