Lube Idol competition starts tonight

Austintown Quaker Steak & Lube will begin preliminary rounds for its Lube Idol singing competition at 9 tonight.

The 10-week competition will feature local singers performing 30-second songs in an attempt to win a $1,000 grand prize.

The competition will be judged by a panel of experts that will score based on quality, originality, stage presence and audience applause.

Interested contestants can enter the competition by calling or visiting The Lube at 5800 Interstate Blvd.
