Fireworks Fest set at fairgrounds tonight

Neighbors | Submitted.Entertainers from Zambelli Fireworks, Abbey Road, MAGMA Project, JD Eicher & The Goodnights, joined event sponsors, food vendors and Canfield Rotary Fireworks Fest committee members to finalize details for the Fireworks extravaganza today at the Canfield Fairgrounds. .The event is free from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a $5 charge per car. 

If you’re looking for something to do for the whole family today, pack up the car and head to the Canfield Fairgrounds for Fireworks Fest 2011.

The event, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Canfield, will include the biggest Zambelli fireworks display in the region. Gates will open at 6 p.m. The event is free and event parking will be $5 per car.

Fireworks Fest 2011 will include fair food, live entertainment and kids’ activities. Abbey Road, a favorite Beatles tribute band, Shooting Star DJ’s, JD Eicher and the Goodnights, MAGMA Project and Austintown Bounce, Inc. are all scheduled to perform.

Canfield Rotary will also have Chevy Cruze LTZ raffle tickets on sale. If the weather does not cooperate, the event will be postponed until Sunday. Visit www.canfieldrotary.org.
