Rebecca Catherine Eschman, daughter of Joseph and Teresa Eschman of Cortland, and Justin Daniel Pykare, son of David and Virginia Pykare of Cortland, were united in marriage on June 26 at Central Christian Church.

The Revs. Joel Dickson and Jordan Biel officiated at the ceremony and a reception followed at McMenamy’s Banquet Center in Niles.

The honor attendant was Kristin Pykare, the groom’s sister-in-law, and bridesmaids were Holly Bircher, Tara Knight, Lissa Yoder and Danielle Biel.

The duties of best man were performed by David Pykare, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Andrew Eschman and Daniel Eschman, brothers of the bride; Steven Barnhart and Daniel McConnell. Ring bearer was Gavin Weinhold.

The new Mrs. Pykare is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education at Youngstown State University.

Mr. Pykare earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kent State University. He is a registered nurse in the ICU with Humility of Mary Health Partners at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple live in Cortland.
