Crafters group meets on Sundays

BOARDMAN

Inspiring Divine Designs, a group of crafters, will meet from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at St. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., for cardmaking, scrapbooking and crafts.

The group gathers on the first and third Sundays (and fifth Sundays on rare occasions).

Experienced and novice scrapbookers and cardmakers are welcome.

Scrapbookers take their own photos and materials. That group is led by Jo-Ann Kaschak.

The cardmaking group, led by Sharyn Fees, teaches the art of rubber stamping to make cards for all occasions. Most materials are provided, but participants are asked to take adhesive and scissors.

A crafting group is led by Florence Hosler, The focus is to make items that will be used in community outreach projects.

There is no fee to attend, but those who plan to attend should e-mail kaschak7425@zoominternet.net or sefees@zoominternet.net.

Bagnolese Club to host sausage party

YOUNGSTOWN

The Bagnolese Men’s Club, an Italian organization, will host an annual sausage party and dinner dance April 2 at the Byzantine Center at the Grove on Shady Run Road. A 6 p.m. cocktail hour will be followed by the dinner and musical entertainment by the Capri Band.

The BYOB event includes a buffet-style dinner featuring two pieces of sausage, chicken, pasta, an Italian dessert and coffee. The cost is $25 for adults and $12 for children 7 to 12. Those 6 and under are free. There will be a basket auction and 50-50 raffle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Reservations are required by March 28.
