“Block 5," directed by J.E. Ballantyne Jr., at Temple Hadar Israel, 403 E. Moody Ave., New Castle, Pa. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Feb. 6. Rehearsals begin Feb. 21. Needed are seven men age 40 and older, one teenage boy 18-19. Some roles will be recreated by actors who performed in 2010 in Youngstown. Performances are March 25, April 1 and 2. 330-799-6176.

“Agnes of God," Victorian Players, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Roles are available for Mother Superior, female age 40-50; Sister Agnes, female age 20-30. The role of Dr. Martha Livingstone is not available. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. “Jesus Christ Superstar," Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem. The production will be directed by Michael Dempsey, with musical direction by Anthony Ruggiero and choreography by Sarah Durham. Open auditions will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13 and 15. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 16. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute vocal selection and provide sheet music in their key. They also should wear suitable clothing for moving and dancing.
