WEDNESDAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

Maennerchor Club, 39S. Dock St., Sharon, Pa., will serve fish or shrimp dinners from 5 to 8 p.m. Meals include coleslaw and bread and butter. Diners have the choice of beer-battered or lightly breaded fish and of french fries, steak fries or baked potatoes. The cost is $7.95 for adult fish, $8.95 for adult shrimp, $4.95 for children’s fish and $5.95 for children’s shrimp.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 after 6 p.m. Thursday or from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 per bag of one dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, will sell homemade haluski Friday. Call in orders to 330-755-0036 or 330-755-4141 from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday. Pickup on Friday will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The donation is $5 a quart.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza and $5 for white pizza.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

SATURDAY

Braceville United Methodist Church, 577 Park Road SW, Newton Falls, will serve stuffed pork chop dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Meals include mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, homemade desserts, bread, and coffee, tea or punch. North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will sponsor a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The all-you-can-eat meal will feature eggs, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, sausage, breakfast rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, juice and coffee. ITAM Veterans Auxiliary will have its annual spaghetti dinner and bake sale. The dinner will be from noon to 5 p.m. at ITAM Post 3, 115 S. Meridian Road. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.75 for children. Takeouts are available.

Knights of Columbus Council 3930 will have a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Dinners include meatballs, tossed salad, bread, dessert and beverages. The cost is $6.50 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 9 and free for those 5 and under. There will be a 50-50 raffle.

St. Charles Knights of Columbus, 7345 Westview Drive and Route 224, Boardman, will host a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Father Haidet Hall. Pasta and meatballs meals are $7 for adults, veal and chicken parmigiana dinners are $8 for adults, and there are special rates for children. All dinners include salad, cake, bread and butter, and a beverage. Carryout orders will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. Take your own container, or they will be provided.

St. Michael Family Life Center, 340 N. Broad St., Canfield, will have a dine-in or carryout cavatelli dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Meals include a meatball, bread, salad, dessert and coffee. The Rosary Group of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 North Lipkey Road, North Jackson, is taking orders for homemade pasta fagioli for $6 a quart until Feb. 2. Brookfield Township Fire Department will have its fifth annual wild game dinner Feb. 19 at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1800 state Route 7 NE, Brookfield. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be at 6. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. There will be a gun raffle, basket auction, hog and beef raffles and a flat-screen TV raffle. Dinners include roast beef, baked chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade bread, green beans, coleslaw, dessert and beverages. The Home Company of the Council is sponsoring the event.
