Parents reveal Hughes-Reinert wedding plans

The engagement of Melissa Hughes and Jason Reinert, both of Little Rock, Ark., and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Karen Hughes of New Castle, Pa. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education. She is a senior quality assurance auditor with Biotechnical Services Inc. in Little Rock.

Parents of the prospective groom are Mary Ann Reinert of Warren and Michael Reinert of San Antonio, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from YSU and a master’s in engineering management from Case Western Reserve University. He is a data engineer with Verizon Wireless in Little Rock.

The couple have chosen St. Mary Catholic Church in Gatlinburg, Tenn., for their 2 p.m. May 7 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at Twin Creeks Picnic Pavilion in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg.
