Daughter of fatally stabbed bartender found dead

MENTOR, Ohio (AP) — An autopsy has found no signs of foul play in the death of an Ohio woman whose bartender mother was fatally stabbed in a case that’s unsolved.

Lake County Deputy Coroner Dr. Mark Komar tells The News-Herald of Willoughby the autopsy on 26-year-old Erica McSween completed Monday showed nothing obvious about her death. He says the cause will be determined from tests of what was in her system. Those results may take a few weeks.

McSween was found dead Saturday at her home in Mentor, northeast of Cleveland.

Her mother, 49-year-old Annie McSween, was found stabbed to death Thanksgiving weekend near the bar where she worked in nearby Mentor-on-the-Lake. Authorities have announced a $30,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction in her killing.
