City outlaws feeding ducks

Don’t feed the ducks in Elkins.

The city council has passed an ordinance that outlaws feeding waterfowl within the city.

The ordinance approved last week carries a $100 fine plus court costs upon conviction for the first offense and a $250 fine for subsequent offenses.
