SALEM

The Salem Youth Chorus, directed by Jon Simsic, is accepting auditions from teens and college-age young adults. Weekly rehearsals are held alternately in Boardman and Salem. The chorus is an accelerated, honors-level ensemble, and is well-suited for those considering a career in music and/or theater as a teacher or performer. For further information and to schedule an audition, call 330-718-0751.

The chorus, which has 20 members, was founded in 2007 to provide young singers with the opportunity to sing great choral music as crafted by the compositional masters.
