MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Jan. 26: Macaroni and cheese, seasoned potatoes, oriental mix veggies, unsweetened applesauce, wheat bread with jelly, orange cupcake, and milk.

Thursday, Jan. 27: Teriyaki Chicken patty on a hamburger bun, vegetarian baked beans, sliced carrots, unsweetened pears, and milk.

Friday, Jan. 28: Meatloaf with gravy, Tri Tators, California blend, orange juice wheat bread with margarine, and milk.

Saturday, Jan. 29: Turkey bologna on a bun with mustard or mayo, tossed salad with dressing, carrot raisin salad ,fresh orange, and milk.

Monday, Jan. 31: Chicken, corn, green beans, unsweetened peaches, whole wheat bun, ketchup, mustard or mayo, and milk.

Tuesday, Feb. 1: Meatballs with sauce, noodles and gravy, brussels sprouts, mandarin orange, wheat bread with margarine, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, Jan. 26: Penne pasta with meatballs and sauce, Italian green beans, lettuce salad with Italian dressing, Italian bread with margarine, diced pears, and milk.

Thursday, Jan. 27: Teriyaki chicken, AuGratin potatoes, oriental mixed vegetables, rye bread with margarine, fruit mix, and milk.

Friday, Jan. 28: Ham slice with pineapple, mashed yams, creamed corn, wheat bread with margarine, and milk.

Monday, Jan. 31: Cheese omelet, tossed salad with french dressing, wheat bread with margarine, diced peaches, and milk.

Tuesday, Feb. 1: Not available
